Preserving History
The Los Angeles Union Station was classified as “the Last of the Great Railway Stations built in the U.S.” Having been placed on the National Register of Historical Places in 1980, it was our job to uphold its style and legacy throughout the re-roofing process.

PROJECT NAME
L.A. Union Station
DESCRIPTION
Restoring and protecting the integrity of Union Station’s Art Deco and Mission Revival style called for meticulous work and was a large part of our mission for this construction endeavor. Historical tile replacement projects require critical record keeping and special materials and we’re proud that Swinerton Builders trusted us to perform and collaborate on these tasks. While safety is always a priority, working on structures with special architectural design and within highly populated city prompts safety protocols to be confirmed for not only construction teams but for the public as well.
